Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Electrical Estimator will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of cost estimates of Electrical and Instrumentation Installations.
• Read scope of work and deliverables needed for RFQ.
• Read and interpret Electrical & Instrument discipline engineering drawings and specifications.
• Assist with detailed Electrical & Instrument estimate support for assigned projects.
• Assist with detailed Electrical & Instrument estimates for Industrial Construction projects.
• Asist with creating proposal for projects to include assumptions & clarifications.
Requirements:
The Estimator requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Minimum 3+ years of Industrial Electrical and Instrumentation experience.
• Team player able to work effectively with other estimators, engineers, and project manager.
• Electrical Industry Standards knowledge.
• Excellent written/ verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and documentation/ procedural skills.
• Must pass a Background and Drug screening.
• Safety and detail focused.
Working conditions are as follows:
• Position Type: Full-Time
• Core Hours: Monday – Friday (5/8s)
• Overtime: Occasionally
• Range: Long Term – 90 Day Probation
• Travel: Minimal
• Physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs/ladders and safely negotiate areas under construction.
