Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The I & E Recruiter is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with HR Management in supporting the company. This position carries out responsibility in the following functional areas: employee relations, onboarding, recruitment/employment.
The I & E Recruiter performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:
- Conducts recruitment effort for assigned sites:
- Recruitment
- Maintains contact with possible construction hands.
- Builds database of qualified applicants, screens and vets possible employees
- Onboarding, training and Background/Drug Screening, Badge Requests, as required for site facility entry.
- Ensure KPI’s are met, for Time to hire process are met-
- New hires-Requisition to on job site- 5-7 working days.
- Rehires-Requisition to on job site- 3-5 working days.
- I-9 -E-verify-within 3 days of hire date
- Employee documents-uploaded within 3 days of hire date
- Documents to payroll-No more than 1 business day.
- Maintain Personnel and Medical files for employees-
- Scan/upload employee records in employee files
- Upload medical records in employee medical files
- Send proper new hire documentation to Payroll on hire date.
- Complete I-9 and E-Verify
- Works closely with Safety and Human Resources to ensure compliance.
- Ensure all medical related issues are sent to Global Safety manager and HR manager.
- Other duties assigned by HR Manager and Director of Business Services
Requirements

- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience an I & E Recruiter in Construction industry.
- Must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Suite- Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Ability to establish priorities, manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Current knowledge of federal, state and local employment and labor laws
- Strong interpersonal skills and communications skills
- Professional appearance / Business casual
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws
- Demonstrates attention to detail, professional attitude and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Working conditions are as follows:
- Position Type: Full Time
- Standard Hours: Monday – Friday
- Hours may vary depending on project needs- Hours are subject to change
- Range: Permanent – 90-day Probation
- Travel: Minimal (maximum of 25%)

- Occasionally lift or move office products/supplies up to 35lbs.
